A hot summer day in Downtown Nashville, Tennessee, we captured Nick & Lisha's Second Anniversary session. They just moved to Tennessee, and are loving this sweet Southern Charm, but also big little city that Nashville offers. Despite the east coast humid heat, these lovebirds are used to similar conditions since they met in South Florida, after being introduced by a friend. Lisha is from Florida, while Nick is a New York native. Our small adventure together began in the middle of the  John Seignethaler Pedestrian Bridge, previously known as the Shelby St. Pedestrian Bridge. The name change is recent in memorial of the man, John Seignethaler who stopped another man from jumping off into the deep waters below. He was recognized for his heroic act, and eventually becoming one of the most famous journalists in the states at one time, with many more great feats to write about. The memorial bridge offers a brilliant view of the city, as you can see in all directions of Nashville. Nick & Lisha, are both incredibly easy going, and fun to be around. Lots of laughter, and not afraid to try any pose- no matter how silly they felt, they would give it a go. I was honored to capture their anniversary photos, as they celebrated two whole years of the journey called marriage. I'm so accustomed to shooting the first day of most people's journey together when things are at the height of their love, so it was touching to see a couple so very much in love, two years later.
